This is a great opportunity for a data-savvy professional to influence decision-makers in the high-stakes domain of climate security. You’ll translate ideas into strategy and products, working with partners and stakeholders and playing a leadership role in an innovative project.
New America's Phase Zero Project seeks to redefine security-building for the twenty-first century competitive space. Using big data and a range of analytical tools, we are researching the root causes of war today, looking at water, energy, food, natural disasters, governance, demographics, historic communal and cross-border conflict, great power competition, as well as how climate will affect all of these variables and change the risks to peace. We also identify investments and actions that could help avoid conflict, widespread social unrest, and mass migration. Our work includes extensive stakeholder engagement, with the intention of providing credible, evidence-backed information with utility for national security professionals.
We encourage veterans to apply.
This role has promotion potential to Deputy Director for the right candidate.
