The Future of Property Rights (FPR) Program seeks applicants who have a strong interest in property rights, international development and technology for our paid program internship.
Despite rapid technological advances, two billion people around the world have insecure land and property rights. FPR works to find solutions to this fundamental challenge; we engage with policy makers, technologists, academics, civil society, and the international development community to expand the conversation around land, and highlight opportunities for technology to help secure property rights. At the same time, we are looking forward towards the creation of new property paradigms in data, the high seas, outer space and other frontiers.
The program intern will assist the FPR team with research and writing (articles for the press as well as policy papers), analysis of laws, policies and technologies, event support, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has excellent writing and research skills, ability to work quickly and multi-task, experience in either the law, policy or tech, and some prior understanding of land and property rights issues.
Please submit resume and cover letter. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis
This internship will pay $18/hour.
NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS WILL BE ANSWERED.
