New America is seeking qualified interns to support the work of its Cybersecurity Initiative for the summer of 2018. The position offers an opportunity to research and work on a variety of cybersecurity issues such as cybersecurity in international development, engaging with state and local policymakers on cybersecurity, and building a stronger cybersecurity workforce. Additional responsibilities include assisting with events and conferences as well as various administrative tasks as needed.
To be eligible, candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or juris doctorate degree. The ideal candidate will have strong researching, writing, and administrative skills, and be a flexible, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player.

The Cybersecurity Initiative is a joint initiative between the International Security Program and the Open Technology Institute that seeks to elevate big ideas and new voices.
